Rome the ‘ Eternal City ‘ and Florence are surely two of the world's greatest cities, they are unmatched with their history and beauty , in Rome's case dating back more than 2000 years and they have a sporting history to match, they are fortunate to have some of the finest golf courses in Europe within their boundaries - Italy's 1st course was established over a century ago at Roma Acquasanta and since then Italy has played host to many important championships and been highly praised for the test , quality and the ability to incorporate history and beauty into their designs .
Despite this you will not see the throngs of visitors associated with golf in Spain and Portugal , Italy remains an almost secret golf destination where tradition and a warm welcome are assured |

Mark , I just wanted to drop you a note to say a big thank you for organising our long weekend. Everything was as good as we could have hoped for , the courses were great, Olgiata and Marco Simone in particular were fantastic , the restaurants you recommended were excellent and I think you should try one that was recommended to us and we tried on Saturday night, Checco Il Carrettiere” in Via Benedetta. , we will be thinking about next year over the course of the next few months and may well bring the team out next year !
I hope all goes well for you for the rest of this year and will definitely recommend your services to anyone I meet.
