Mark an Englishman who, when travelling in Italy, became enchanted with Sabina, and returned to settle here. The first thing he noticed was that this was not the Walt Disney make believe world of Toscana but a real Italian place with genuine people going about their daily lives, taking time with that perfect cappucino, choosing the 'pane' and 'verdura' and cooking the most wonderful food from fresh almost always organically grown produce - For Italians taste is everything. No perfect lettuces flown half-way around the world here! No menus in English or German, in fact, hardly any menus, but what's fresh, what's in season and all prepared with loving care.
Faced with the dilemma of wanting to share this wonderful place with others but not wishing to disrupt or ruin village life, Mark founded a Taste of Rome Italian cooking holidays so that others could share the delight of the relatively untouched village life and the genuine warmth of the people together with the delicious local food and wine.
So we put together a group of people who you will find making your Italian cooking holiday , a cooking holiday to remember !
